Infografía The Business Case for Digital Asset Management

Traballei co equipo de Widen, a solución de xestión de activos dixitais, on this infographic, exploring the business case for digital asset management. It is common for businesses to use a shared drive or simply ask for others to send files via email, but these aren't fail-proof. In a recent survey, 84% of businesses report that finding digital assets is the biggest challenge they have when working with digital assets. I know how big of a pain it is and how much time is lost when I can't find a file in my email archive or in my computer folders. But imagine that frustration in a large corporate setting with many employees; that's a lot of lost time, efficiency, and money.

Furthermore, it also creates problems between departments. 71% of organizations have problems providing other staff members with access to assets within the organizations, which reduces collaboration between departments. If I can't provide my designer with a content document easily, then he can't get his job done. DAM provides a way for everyone in the organization to have access to all the digital assets that they need in an organized repository.  With DAM, things get done faster and more efficiently.
